What to do while I am waiting for IELTS scores?

I am writing my IELTS in July 2016. I know I cannot be creating my express entry profile till then. But in the meanwhile, can I get my documents verified or is it that the universities have to send it directly to WES?? If thats the case, i will again have to wait till I have my IELTS scores in hand, right??


Its the first time I am about to do this process. So kindly guide me if I can be doing something till the time I have the IELTS score??

IELTS and ECA processes are completely independent of each other.

If you need an ECA for your foreign education, get it organised now. Read up on the WES websites about specific requirements for your university. Again, IELTS results are not required for this.

Another thing you should do is get reference letters for all previous jobs and police clearance certificates for countries you spent more than 6 months in, and where you don't plan on returning to before you submit your application.

You typically send your degree or diploma certificates to WES directly, and the university sends the transcripts.

But again, this can be slightly different for each country and the WES website has a very helpful feature where you can select your country and read about the process for your individual country.
