What to do when the school is not releasing PGWP?

Hi, anybody could help me here.. i found out that the school im enrolled is not anymore releasing PGWP. what is the other means to get PGWP?

Schools do not issue pgwp. Never have.

It's not up to the school. It's up to CIC. If the school no longer qualifies for a PGWP then you would need to switch to another school that does qualify for a PGWP.

Do you mean to say that they aren't issuing a letter of completion to you, which you need to apply for a PGWP?

Or is your school not eligible for PGWP? Is it not a DLI?

Just because a school is a DLI doesn't mean you'll qualify for a PGWP once you're done.

Im sorry, i mean the program that i enrolled is not a diploma course but a Post graduate certificate The school is MTI Community College. But mticc is a DLI. Can a post grad certificate qualify for applying PGWP?

It's a private college. So you would only qualify if your school meets one of the following requirements:

- a private post-secondary institution that operates under the same rules and regulations as public institutions
OR
- a Canadian private institution authorized by provincial statute to confer degrees but only if you are enrolled in one of the programs of study leading to a degree as authorized by the province and not in all programs of study offered by the private institution

You don't meet the second condition. So your school would have to meet the first condition for you to qualify for a PGWP.
