What to do at 10.30 hour stay at London?

I am going to Edmonton, Canada through British airways on 29th August. There is a stay at heathrow airport London of 10.30 hours. Can I roam around or just have to stay at the airport and wait for my next flight?

You will be in transit, so you will not be allowed to leave "airside".
All you can do is wander round the transit areas and get bored..
Take a good book.

u have to wait..heathrw is very crowded airport .. 1 cant evn find a seat to sit.. my stay ws of 3.20 hrs nd in that time i ws bored ..urs is 10.30 its a long wait...i'l suggest u to find sm1 who vl be travlng on same flight othrwise it wil bcm very difficlt fr u...

You can get a transit visa at the airport go to the immigration there show then your ticket then they will issue you a temporary visa and you can see london
