Hi there,

I have ONE question regarding the min income requirement to sponsor my parents.
what the min income really mean? I received the NOA every year.there is line 150 total income and line 260 taxable income= line 236 net income. I am not sure which one is for the min requirement.
one example is I have total income 100K and bought RRSP 20k so the taxable income will be about 80K. I submmited the sponsor application in 2011. If the min income requirement is 85K, am I qualify or not?

You would use line 150 less any EI or social assistance receievd (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5482Eguide.asp)
