PGWP will expire at the end of this November. I have 1+ Canadian work experience with NOC 6212. I applied LMIA on Aug 10,2016, it seems I wont get final result before my wp expire. Can I extend wp while LMIA is pending or join in the pool to wait for the big changes in November? Currently CRS is 320(not including Education from homeland) having a sister who is Canadian. Welcome any creative suggestion! thx!

I hope you mean your employer applied for an LMIA.

If you are within 2 weeks of your work permit expiring, you can apply for a new work permit with the LMIA pending. You need to submit proof that your employer has applied for the LMIA (e.g. courier receipt, file number).

LMIA can take around 5 months sometimes even more depending on province and job. You can apply for an extension with LMIA pending and send it to them once you get it. Apply by mail to buy 4 months and hopefully you'll get it by that time. Latest you can apply for the extension is the expire date of your current WP.
