What should I do CIC sent me wrong address???

CIC send the letter to the wrong address .. and we called them then thay said " we have to wait until they get that letter back after that they will re-sent us again. and How long I have to wait for my letter? ..because we need it to get a TRV for visit my husband


Any body had the experience of the CIC's letter was sent to the wrong address? ???

How did you know that CIC sent a letter on a wrong address?.
As you are under spouse sponsorship category, better you have to wait and get the visa processed before trying for a TRV. Otherwise you have to comeback to submit the passport to the visa office when needed. Also anticipate a situation that you are required for an interview with your visa office.
Anyhow, I don't think some one can say how long you have to wait for getting a letter from CIC under the circumstances you mentioned.

I knew that because when I check e-cas it was show my wrong address, and I've known many people they can go by TRV and they sent email to office visa to change the address..then thay will sent what ever to us to new address....

I think someone here has the same experience as mine..but I couldn't fine that forum..they talked about CIC sent them to the wrong address either.. I just hope they will give me some idea.

is it that was your old address they sent it too?
well then can't you ask someone from your old address or go to your old address and retrieve the letter.
and then request again to cic to change the address on the e-cas.
so you get the letter but you have to do the work and hopefully it takes less time than CIC having to retrieve the letter and redo it to you?

It wasn't my old address..but, CIC made a mistakes we gave them the right one is unit 41 but, they sent to unit 14 Well, we went to that house on unit 14 and asked them about the letter but, they didn't get any mail.. this is not my mistake... We called CIC already they said they will wait until the letter return to them then they will re-sent it again and I also hope it will not gonna take too long..

Now I changed my address online from unit 14 (the wrong one) to unit 41 and I also checked my application to make sure wasn't my mistake ;D

That sucks! I emailed my visa office to change my address and they completely disregarded it! The old address is the one they sent my letter to and is on ecas as well. It's my parent's place though.. so I'll just leave it since they obviously don't know what they're doing.

The sponsorship letter was sent to my husband. I got a letter notifying me of a transfer to another visa office which went to my Mom's place, so she just called and read it to me. That will be fine... we can't ask too much of these inept people, apparently.
