Hi

Just wondering what I should bring to Canada in my Shipment to follow, I have a full 4 bed room house with everything a house have, I have very expensive Marble top dinning tables and some hand made Turkish and Iranian Carpets/ Rugs. Other than that what should I put in Shipment to follow list.

Appreciate any suggestion or recommendation

Can you list out what things you have in your full 4 bedroom house and what your new home in Canada is like? Is the new home in Canada has the same exact dimensions and size as your existing home? If neither, you should really consider what things you need and not need. Things like electronics and small appliances will not work in Canada unless you bring a step up converter. You need to identify items you have in your new home in Canada.

Hi Steaky,

Actually in the list to follow I am planning to keep all the expensive stuff currently in my home country that I am planning to bring in future time to time or may be in one shipment (frankly even I don't know this at the moment). I kept in my list my Marble top Dinning tables, living room and my bedroom set furniture, also all my expensive Turkish and Afghan carpets that are hand made, as well as crockery sets, expensive paintings and decorations pieces. In Canada initially i might not able to have big house as i understand but in future may be I have if not four bedroom at least two to three bedroom house. One of my relatives have four bedroom house in Mississauga and his Master bed as well as Living room dimensions are more than my house rooms. He just paid CD100,000 to a bank and his house worth more than CD550,000. So believe and according to him I can get more bigger house in Winnipeg within the same amount.

Some people says Marble tables and Carpet are much more expensive in Canada as compare to Pakistan so is worth shipping to Canada. I am wondering what else would be more worth to put in the list of Shipment to follow.

That's a plan and you can put them in the list and have it stamped when you meet the CBSA officer. For now, you can look at the website below for property prices in Winnipeg:
