Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi all,

I am visiting my boyfriend in Canada for a week and need a letter of employment from my brother. I've had issues crossing before, so I think it would be good to bring.

He employs me part time and the job doesn't exactly have a set schedule, as I only recently started it.
So I'm not really sure what I should tell him to include in the letter. Any ideas?

Thanks for the help!

When I had my boss write a letter for when I went to visit my fiance, I just had him do a really basic, "I've been informed X will be leaving on X date to visit canada for X amount of time. They are expected back by X date." Signed and dated. Funny though, I didn't even get asked to see it when I passed through the border >_>

Haha, well I hope my crossing goes as well. Thanks for the input.

Also, does his phone number need to be included?

He's really not going to be able to pick up the phone at the time I am crossing the border. So they aren't going to get anyone if they do attempt to call him for some reason.

I didn't have any means of contact included from my employer. Just his professional signature. Printed name, business, signature, so on.
