Hi Expert,

I will appreciate, if someone can advise How do they count physical presence ? I refer ENF23 for Residency Obligation to maintain PR but could not locate exact details.

1) While leaving Canada it seem that Immigration do not stamp any "exit" on passport . Some country do not stamp "entry" stamp either on comming back. -- Does it mean I am physically present in Canada, untill any other country "entry" stamp on my passport .. ?

2) or does officer Just key-in passport number in system to track ?

3) At the point of entry (POE) how do Officer will know I meet residnecy requirement or not ?

4) While renew of PR what document is consider valid ? Passport copy to count days ?

Appreciate your help..

1. No
2. Yes
3. They have records of your actual stay in Canada. If you wanted to claim additional days, for instance from working for a Canadian company abroad, you would need to provide proof.
4. Claim your actual days in Canada, and if applicable, provide proof for any additional days that you can show meet residency requirements while staying abroad.
