Hello Friends,

Greetings !!

I have sent all my docs to CIC , its already over 1 month 1 week, but there is no update/communication from CIC.

What happens next? How to know if they accepted my application?

Thanks,
Nishi

Hello,

Although I have sent my documents for FSW a week back, I too would like to know what happens next? Does CIC notify receiving documents? Do they contact us? What is the procedure/steps thereafter?

Thanks..

If under CIC you imply the Central Intake Office in Sydney, NS, then wait for another several months, it's way so long now, takes them eternity to charge processing fees. This is supposed to be the very first response to your application if you included a credit card details instead of a DD. Then they will send you a PER - Positive Eligibility Review. Please look for the global spreadsheet to find out when people received their PER's and you'll have some estimates on when it is your turn.

All we can do is wait. They are probably not done with last year's applications yet.

I am new for this visa category. I would like to know, How did you prepare the document and submited? Did you created your own or with any lawyer or company?

On my own. Not a big deal with help of www.cic.gc.ca, IMM 7000 guide and forums like this.

Mate, I'm doing my own. It looks ominous when you start, but use the cic website and this forum and you will start seeing things clearly if your case is straight-forward. Imo, only in extra-ordinary cases should you need a lawyer or consultant - or if you really have a lot of money to spare.
