What type of medical tests do they get with the upfront medical? Is CXR mandatory?

Chest x-ray is mandatory.

i've been told by Max in New Delhi, India that a chest xray, a couple of blood tests, consultation with doctor are required. for children, it is a consultation primarily with a couple of other tests (nothing invasive if i remember correctly)

What type of medical tests do they get with the upfront medical? Is CXR mandatory?

Here you go.

- Blood examination: Routine blood count, HIV, Hepatitis, Syphilis
- Urine examination: Sugar, protein, microscopic
- Physician examination: Complete body check up including any scar of surgery or else, hernia, etc.
- Chest X-ray:
- Height-weight
- Vision test (reading those typical alphabets from a distance)

All the tests above are mandatory.

Also Chest X-ray is mandatory, only exception to this is a pregnant woman. Although she can get it done wearing a protective lead-apron.
