What kind of trip can count as an outing/trip

The question 2 in IMM 5285 requires to describe the types of outings/trips on a separate sheet of paper and may be attach photos, if any. During the last few years, we only had a couple of trips which either lasted several days, or, traveled a few hundred kilometers away from home. Is this OK? Do those very short trips which were only less than 50 km away from home, and less than eight hours count as outings/trips?

Yes. An outing can be for just part of a day, and does not even have to be outside of the city you are in.

I included travel outside Canada and camping every summer (a day or for days) and visit his family in another town which is 3 hrs drive

I think you're free to mention anything you feel was an outing/trip for you as a couple - including day trips. However I wouldn't go overboard and list 100 - keep it reasonable. My husband and I included everything that involved a flight. This ended up being around 30 trips over 4-5 years.
