What issue date do we get after PGWP is issued?

Hello,

I have received a letter from IRCC that I can work for 3 months or until decision is made on my application. I am just wondering what will be the issue date would we get after the PGWP is issued? The issue date would be when I applied for PGWP or whenever the PGWP is issued that date would be the issue date. A bit confused. Would be thankful for the help.
