Dear Friends,

I am applying under 2171 but I can't zero in on the number of applications that have been sent on this code. The spread sheet says its around 340, the website says its 275. I will be applying near 25 November. Going by these numbers it looks I have a health chance. Going by the predictions I read on the forum, it seems the game will be over by 30 October.

Can anybody tell whats going on?

The CIC web site only reflects the applications that have actually been opened and processed by CIC. CIC is still working on applications received from the first week of June. This means the 275 applications listed on the web site reflects the number of applications received as of the first week of June.

The spreadsheet is not managed by CIC. It is something that was put together by members of this forum. The 340 reflects the number of forum members who have applied under this NOC. Obviously there are many other people who have applied for this NOC who are not members of this forum - and therefore their names won't appear on the spreadsheet.

Either source tells you how many applications CIC has received under this NOC effective today.

Just to add... I think late November will be too late to apply. However I supposed you can certainly give it a go.

All of this was explained to you in great detail earlier here:

Why are you still confused?

Can you point me to a place where they mention that they are still processing applications from as far back as JUNE.

You can't find this information anywhere on the CIC web site. Just in discussions here:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/fsw-2014-applicants-timeline-lets-network-here-t199004.90300.html

Plus we're all very familiar with how all of this works from previous years. What you're seeing this year is no different than others years.
