what is UCI on the student visa application form

what do v have to write under UCI field?
do we need to submit original educational documents or just photocopies and if photocopies then how many?

You will only have a UCI (Unique Client Identifier) if you have dealt with the CIC before -- previous visas/applications/etc.
It is okay to leave it blank if you do not have a UCI.
