what is the process of Dependents to get a work permit in Montreal

Hello-I am currently in US on L1 B visa--I may move to Montreal in the same company (Internal Transfer)-I would like to know if my wife who would be coming in as a dependent work in Montreal?In US EAD is required to be eligible for any job-Is it the same process in Montreal too?How much time does it take to get the work permit?

She can apply for a work permit along with you.
