Hi there,
Let's assume me and my wife are Canadian permanent residents (we are not because our applications are still under process). We would like to invite my parents-in-law (which I will call "parents" for simplicity) for a visit to Canada (they are not Canadians or Americans), and take a trip to the US.
I understand that they need a Visa to enter Canada, called a Super Visa.
Here is the interesting part. My parents can't speak English, which therefore, my wife suggested me to bring them here first (using Super Visa), then we apply for US visa together. This way, I can accompany my parents in the interview. The problem with this is, I heard applying a US visa from a country of non-residence is difficult.
Can anyone confirm that my suspicion makes sense? Or can anyone share and/or give some experience regarding this?
Thank you.
