What is the minimum score i have to get in IELTS ?

Hi Friends,

Need your valuable suggestions.........!!!!!!

1. I did my Bachelors Degree in 2010 and working as Software Developer since then and have 3 years of IT experience, and i would like to do Masters in Canada, am i eligible to apply for study permit ?
2. I need to take IELTS general or Academic ?
3. What is the minimum score i have to get ? 6.0/6.5 is fine or ?
4. What are spring,fall dates in Canada ?
5. How many days in a week, will they conduct the classes ?
6. If i joined 2 years program, am i eligible to work for 3 more years, is this TRUE ?
7. Can we do part time job while we are studying ? is getting part time job easy in Canada ?
8. Finally what is the best City/Place/State in Canada to study ?
9. It is saying...., probably there is no personal visa interview, we will get stamper by submitting our passport directly? is this TRUE ?

Please answer all the questions, need advice from the experienced persons, i will take your comments sincerely.

By the way my profile details are....
10th - 75%
12th - 80%
Bachelors Degree - 57%
Having 3 years of IT experience (1 year international experience) in Java/J2EE

1. Yes You are eligible to apply for a Study permit.
2. You need to take Ielts Academic Module.
3. For Master course it is required you must be good in english. Ielts score of overall 6.5 bands with no band less than 6 in each module is required. Try to get overall 7 bands it will make your case more strong, which will help ne fast processing of your visa.
4. There are three intakes in canada, January, May, September. Although May Intake is only available in some colleges so kindly consult your college before applying for any course.
5. Working days in college depends on the course selected and college rules. Some courses required 3 days Some go over for 5 days in a week. Please consult college regarding the same.
6. Yes , you will get 3 years Work permit after completion of your 2 year course.
7. Yes you can do part time job while you study. You can work for 20 Hrs/week as a student while during Vacations after the semester ends, You can work full time.
8. Toronto is the best city in the Canada, you can get part time jobs there easily. Montreal is also fine.
9. That totally depends on Visa Officer, If he/she finds something suspicious in your file. He will call you for a face to face interview. Normally Students gets VISA without any interview.

Really thanks a lot for your reply, every thing is cleared but 2 more related questions.

1. For applying PR, the hours that i will work while i am in student pass will considers ?
2. After my education, for getting 3 years work permit, do we need to get any job offer and LMO from any Employer or by default immigration will approve work permit ?

1. No - not for CEC. The days you spend working as a student cannot be counted.
2. You do not need a job offer or LMO to be approved.

i am planning to go to canada in sept.
to the place called vancouver...so can u pls tel me is it good to study there...i mean can i get parttime jobs there...!!!
i choose to do MS in INCS...so do u think its good..i mean after my MS can i get job oppurtunities ...!!!
