What is the meaning of AOR

I have sumbitted my appilication for CEC catagory.

they have charged the amount from my credit card last week and yesterday I received mail from Immigration office that they have gone thru my papers and found OK.
they also mentioned that now my papers will be forwarded to visa office and given a number looks like recpt no. is this AOR. I am confused.....

please somone can tell....

AOR means Acknowledgement of Receipt, SO it's good for you and now your application gone through preliminary check and now it's under process.
