What is the maximum time taken for an application to be approved, as per your proven knowledge?

Hi All,

I'm just curious to know, what is the maximum time it took for someone's application (from AOR to Landing) to be approved? 2 years, 3 years, 5 years etc. ?
Primarily I'm talking about complex applications which are outside the purview of normal CIC timelines.

I heard that someone AOR is June,2016.But he is not copr yet.

as I can remember longest case was 33 month from AOR without approval or rejection.
