If you are from India, how can you match your past education against the requirements of all Canadian colleges? For example, what factors determine the course selection on the basis of whether you have done PCM, PBM, humanities or commerce? What is the role of your percentage? From where do the education agents get all this information? What is their primary source?

Agents are paid commissions by many schools to send you there. Schools that recruit international students have lower standards for admission.

Your agent can take a quick look at your scores, determine which minimums it meets, and then recommend schools that give her/him the highest commission. Even if it means sending you to a tiny private college in North Bay.

you can easily get admission on your own and apply for visa on your own

Agents are there to do business and earn money, they do not care about you. Its better to apply on own , after own research.
