what is the difference between eTA and transit visa

hi, as i mentioned in the title what is the difference between eTA and transit visa.

Is eTA alone enough for through Canada by air, via a Canadian airport or am i still need to transit visa

Are your transiting through Canada to another country? Then you need a transit visa. Only citizens of certain countries can apply for a eTA to travel to Canada. If not one of those countries you need a visitor visa. Aren’t you coming to study?

Can’t say but will depend where you live and biometrics. Easier to book directly to where you want to travel.
