Hi. Im new here. My first post.

well, i want to go to Canada through MPNP. There four options to apply under MPNP. I have chosen D. Option D says "You are a skilled worker with a strong connection to Manitoba through having family who live in the province". Now what is the meaning/definition of this word ""Skilled Worker""? Are there any specific type of job?

Thanks in advance.

There is no particular definition for skilled worker under the MPNP. However, for the stream you have described, you must pass the minimum threshold of 55 points under the General Stream assessment criteria.

Also, you must be able to satisfy one of the following:

1) Proof that you have six months of full-time work-experience in Manitoba
2) Proof that you completed an educational program (excluding ESL)
3) A Settlement Plan reviewed and endorsed by a close relative who is a Canadian citizen or PR and have been living in Manitoba continuously for at least one year
4) A Settlement Plan reviewed and endorsed by a close friend who is a Canadian citizen or PR and have been living in Manitoba continuously for at least one year and is not currently sponsoring someone else.

What type of work experience do you have?

Skilled worker means you have a job and/or experience in an occupation that falls under NOC O, A or B. Google NOC 2011 list.
