ask this question is because I have house and cars in US. can't sell them in such a short time frame. If I quit my job in US, i have to apply B-1/2 visa to enter US.

Most recent case on the forum is Chigirl who got B1/B2 visa to do her PPR stamping in person at Buffalo. Yes it is possible for you to come back to the US on B1/B2 visa. There are people who have left the US after 6 years and then come back to meet their friends while others come here on short term work trips.
