The easiest is probably to pay online and then e-mail a copy of the workbook and proof of payment to CPC-M. Use the send receipt of payment link at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/relatives-apply-after.asp so that the subject of your e-mail is appropriate.

If your application is already at the VO, then also submit a copy to the VO for their reference (otherwise, send them a copy once they have your application as a case specific enquiry).
Thanks, I just updated my question.. the instructions are not clear at all. They don't specify dependent - it just says family member.

Should I send to Mississauga because people around my time frame have been getting letters from Ottawa.. should I wait and try to call them tomorrow?

Update: never mind I just panicked and paid it. What if they open my app tomorrow? I send an email to the link you suggested.. thanks so much! I will call tomorrow. I hope I get the grumpy agent :-*

Good - it's done :) Now they'll have the payment on file when they go to process your file.

If you don't get some sort of confirmation from CIC that it's been added to your file, resend it to the VO once your file has been sent to them to ensure it's added to your file.

Hope you hear from CPC-M very soon :)

Thanks for all your help. I tried calling the help line but no luck yet. We are already preparing a care package for MNL once we get a file #. I just hope they didn't send the application back.

Highly unlikely over this. A delay (caused by the request) would have been more likely if they needed to funds before proceeding with the application.

On the phone RIGHT NOW with CIC and they said there's no fees for non accompanying children at all

So the agent took my info for a refund. She was confident there were no fees at all (aside from Medical fees) for a non-accompanying child.

Well, that's good news for you. :)

It's really odd that instructions don't specify that - I don't see it specified anywhere.

ELOH - I guess you're going to have to either wait for Ottawa's response or see if the call centre can help you clarify what the $150 is.

It was good that I read all these before paying again. I still don't have a response from Ottawa. Could the $150.00 be for a work permit? Could I be that far along?
