Hi, I have been reading through the information about the eligibility for the CEC.
On their "determine you eligibility" site it states 12 months of skilled work experience is needed.

You need to meet these requirements to apply under the Canadian Experience Class. You must:
• have at least 12 months of full-time (or an equal amount in part-time) skilled work experience in Canada in the three years before you apply,

But when I read the OP 25 from Jan 2013 it states you need 24 months, which one is correct?

"Temporary Foreign Worker Stream
Under this stream, an applicant must have acquired, in Canada, within the 36 months before the date the application is made, at least 24 months of full-time work experience, or the equivalent in part-time work experience, in a NOC type 0, or level A or B"

This one's the latest OP25-A.

12 months is the current requirement for CEC class.

Both are correct. The OP 25 is for applications received before the rules changed on Jan 4, 2013; the OP 25 A is for applications received after.
