I submitted my medical, all police record and marriage certificate. Just wanted to know what's after this and how long it going to take before I can work or get permit residence. Is it possible this year?This wait is killing me.

After this, you wait. Timelines will depend on which visa office you're being processed through. Many will result in having residency by the end of the year.

If you filed inland and for a spousal open work permit application, that will be on a separate track to your full PR, and normally comes within 4 months of being applied.

Keep in mind that just because you are in Canada does not mean it is an inland application, but if you file inland yes you can apply for an OWP and they take about 4 months to get.
