I received a letter from the Canadian Embassy requesting for my medical and my sponsor's family configuration.
Can anyone help by telling me what family configuration is?

never seen anything of that sort on this forum,
but i think they want to know if he's married or not, does he have kids or not, if so how many, of what age and are they his dependents or not.

I assume they're asking because they want be certain that your sponsor can afford

• their own expenses
• those of their dependent children
• and yours.

May be they are asking for Family Registration Certificate of your Sponsor :-X :-X
