What is a family booklet? Is it required under the new application?

Ive completed almost everything I need to submit this application except for this booklet.

I have called the Portuguese consulate and they told me they have no idea what a family booklet is. Will my application be rejected without one? I have no clue where to find this and google isnt helping :/

Also secondary question, in the new guide it says you are ineligible to sponsor if you receive social assistance. The 12 month rule seems to be gone. Is that correct?

As stated on the checklist, the family booklet is only required IF your country issues one. If your country doesn't issue it, then it is N/A.

There never was a 12 month rule. The rule is still the same: if you currently receive welfare, you are ineligible to sponsor.
