Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi folks,

We have been observing downturn in Canadian economy and as a result, jobs are shrinking. But on the other hand, CAN $ is constantly going strong, which is not the sign of weak economy at all. What indication is this? Any views?

Thanks.

Hi,

I think everybody on the Forum is having AEO in hand.

May we can say it is positive change in economy. In other hand check the Japan and China economy is how good and their currency value is too low.

May some one have good knowledge on economy can explain us (like I'm layperson in economy but want to know the details)

Good thread for discussion.

Hi hmisabpk,

Thanks for sharing your valuable views on the subject. This is important because this is linked to dreams of every person on this Forum. Plz share more and more views on the subject. If economy is giving good sings then why people who have recently landed are not finding any jobs in their ocupation (not even as dishwashers in a hotel) or employers are just taking excuse of recession for slashing jobs.

Thanks

Hi,

I noticed that while shopping or spending money in US using my credit card, the bank statement in CAD is almost very close to the actual amount of bill in US $. Before I had to pay more CAD against US $, but now the benefit is the difference is very less eventhough the exchange rate is slightly fluctuating

Hi wilson,

Thanks for sharing your experience and observation. This point struck me when I noticed that many persons are landing in Canada, but they are not finding jobs and even thinking to defer settlement and choosing to coming back to their home countries and joining their earlier jobs. This shows the gloomy picture of jobs in Canada.

Thanks.
