What if person on the ref. letter leaves

Hello

I have a reference letter and the person who's name is on the letter has left the company. So I am little worried that if CIC calls or sends an email and they do not get any response what would happen. My company is a big multinational company. I am no longer working there

so many hopeful immigrants have asked numerous times whether anyone knows of a case where CIC contacted employers (or ex-employers) to verify employment letters, and we've never heard of a single case. This leads me to say that 'probably' no one will contact the person who wrote you the ref letter. Even if CIC decides that they want to verify the letter, I'm pretty sure it will be routed to HR since your ex-employer is a 'big multinational'. I'm sure HR can easily verify and confirm your starting/termination dates as well as your latest salary.

Don't worry.. should be fine, really
