I'm travelling to India on 15th on November and my marriage is on 23rd of November.
Last week I called CIC twice and asked them about the status of my Express Entry Canadian Experience Class. I was a student here for 3 years and now I am working in my field job since last 2.5 years.
So, when I called CIC, they said my file status is good to and and following things are approved.
Medical
Background check
Eligibility check
Also, CIC mentioned that I should expect pass port request anytime now.
I've been seeing few consultants since last two days and they all are giving me different advice and I am not sure what should I do. One of them said I should postponed my wedding and wait till I receive the PR card. Another one was saying that I should not worry about this and finish the marriage. If I get the Passport request then you can finish landing and we can apply for PRTD document.
I would like to add my wife but since we're not married yet I can not add her now.
CIC basically gives me following 3 options and I would like you to suggest me some details/steps that I should do.
My biggest and greatest concern at this point is that WHAT IF I got the passport request before my travel ?
Also, Is it a good idea to fill up IRCC Web Form on 24th November and add a wife into existing applicaiton if in case I don't receive a passport request ?

- First option, I should fill up the IRCC web form and let them know that I'm travelling on 15th November for my marriage. In that case either they will finish my PR process little early but no guarantee at all that I will be able to travel on 15th November with my PR card in my hand. In that case, I end up applying for PRTD (Permanent Residency Travel Document) from India. I certainly do not want to go for this options where I have to apply travel document from India because If that document doesn't arrive on time than I'll stuck in India. I have a job and I have to report back on in on 10th December.
- Second option was to just wait and see how things are going with this application. IF I don't get passport request at all before my travelling then I should fill up CIC web form on 24th of November and declare that my marital status has been changed. In this case, they will ask some documents from my wife such as Marriage certificate, Police Clearance, Medical etc. Although, I am perfectly fine with this options even tho I know that its going to delay in my PR process but I do have some doubts.
- My CIC score on which I have obtained the ITA, is going to recalculate?
- Do I have to withdraw the application and can CIC tell me that apply again from the scratch with your wife?
- Third option, Let's say I receive my passport request tomorrow or next week or even worse 2 days before my travelling time (eg. 13 November) so should I travel and get marry to my wife? If yes. then in that case I need to come back on work permit and then update CIC using IRCC web form and have to tell them that my marital status is changed. Since, I have not finish landing what could go wrong in this option?
