What if I dont get a Work experience letter from current employee

Hi All,

I am on my H1B (Cap Exempt) and work in an university in US. I am applying for Canada EE. I am in a very dicey situation. I belong to a small team and dont know how I should ask them for the work experience letter. There will be many questions and I dont know how to convince them. Previously a colleague asked them for the same and they did not give him too. Also we are only a team of 4 people and it is not possible for me to get the letter from my manager or any colleagues too. What are my options and how can I prove to CIC about my employment? Please help

Option 1 is to get it written on an email that they wont issue such letters. Preferred
Option 2 is to remove this experience from you work history and add it to personal history so that you won't have to submit anything. Just make sure that your points aren't altered due to this
