My girlfriends firm are looking to make redundancies. If she is made unemployed and I'm still in full time employment, will this greatly effect my chances?
I applied over a year ago when she was employed.

once she's already approved as a sponsor you have nothing to worry about.

Not sure if she has been approved yet.

Have you not gotten any communication from them? You should have by now they usually take about a couple months to let you know whether or not the sponsor is approved before working on the rest of the application

We applied April of last year. We got a generic PDF email Jan 21st saying our application was received and that they would inform us when the app was being processed.

It is taking ~ 17 months for an Inland sponsor to be approved, but the processing times may be improving.

It won't have any effect.
