Hi everyone, pls I need your help. i was an administrative assistant in a company owned by my mother for 3 years combined. The company was involved in the production of custard powder. However, the company closed down and the custard production was continued under another company when my mother relocated to the US. Can I claim points with this NOC code 1241, even though

1. my degree is in biochemistry
2. The company CEO was my mother
3. The company has no letterhead again as the contact details are not valid anymore

Thank you in anticipation.

Your education and work experience do not have to be related for EE.

2. The company CEO was my mother
This isn't a problem, but I don't think your mother can write your reference letter.

3. The company has no letterhead again as the contact details are not valid anymore
Not a problem. You'll find guidelines somewhere on this forum regarding what you should do if your reference letter isn't on letterhead.

Thank you in anticipation.

Actually I have similar case. I have been working for my father's company for last couple of years. I am into technical and business development chemicals field and have Masters in Electrical Engineering. I am also not sure what to do. I have more than 1 year of electrical engineering experience also.

I am also facing the similar situation.

The company in which i am currently working and with which i was working before is providing contractual services to another multinational company.
In that multinational company, my father is the manager of my department and i have to report to him about my official duties directly.

Do you guys think that i can get a reference letter from him about my experience ?

I have all the job offer letters, salary increment letter and salary slips.

Waiting to hear from you guys soon.
