My brother entered Canada on a 4-year student visa, but he actually did not attend school after the first year. I don't think he was even enrolled as a full-time nor part-time student. He was not working, either.
His student visa expired this March and he is currently on visitor visa which expires this May 31. He couldn't get a student visa because he wasn't a student.
The problem is that, when I entered Canada this week to find what my brother was up to, I was taken into a special room at the airport and was asked some questions about the purpose of my trip. I said I came here to look for my brother and the officer asked me the name of my brother and his status in Canada. At that point, I thought he was a student, so I told her so. Then she typed something on her computer for 2-4 minutes. I think she found out that he wasn't a student and made a note about this so thy can interrogate my brother when he leaves Canada.
So my question is: Will my brother have any problems when he leaves Canada? If so, what would they be?
