What happens if i don't get the TRV on time?

Hello!

I applied for my TRV on the 26th of December (i'm working in Canada on a WP). The official site says that they are working on application from December 7th.

I have to leave the country for 2 weeks on the 6th of Feb.

As i'm getting nervous, i was wondering if there is any plan B for people like me who are waiting on their TRV while their departure date is approaching pretty quickly. I know i can cancel the flight so that's the worst case scenario. But is there is any other way, in case i don't get the TRV in time?

1. If it is approved, you then can apply to have it stamped at an overseas office.

As i write this, i got the approval and now i have to send my passport to them. My flight is on the 6th of Feb so hopefully i'll get my passport back by then!
