Can anyone Shed some light on what happens after you get Common-Law PR? I am talking about after AIP and when I get the Work Permit ect...

As myself as the applicant and when I do receive my PR does it state Common-Law on it? On the PR Card itself or does it just look like a standard PR card?

I am just very confused as I am applying for Common-Law PR with my GF however I have no idea what documentation to expect after I have AIP.

Just to be clear, you won't receive PR or a PR card right after AIP. AIP is just the first stage of the inland application process. You'll have to wait until the second stage of the inland application process is complete and your application has been fully approved. Once this happens and you have landed, you'll be mailed a PR card a month or so later. This PR card will simply be a PR card. It won't list your marital status.

Ok great thanks for that information, I have just never been told what happens when you get your PR card and what it says on it.

However you may get condition 51 on it, which requires you to live with your sponsor for 2 more years.

Agreed. I forgot to mention that.
