What happen if the TRV delayed?

I am wondered if the decision of TRV acceptance delayed and pass the date of period of stay in Canada that I wrote at the application form IMM5257E ? In this case do I have permit to use the visa to enter Canada after that period? knowing that the delay not come from my side?

TRVs have non-negotiable dates written on them.

There is no such thing as a "TRV delay" you are warned to file the TRV application with exceeding time as 1 out of 5 applications WILL take longer than the usual processing time.

Basically it means that CIC does not take any responsibility on how much time a TRV might take to be processed.
