What happen after getting Visa

Hi all,

I applied under CEC and I have asked to send my passport for visa issuing to CPC-Ottawa. What will happen after getting visa? How can I get my PR card? and how long it take to get PR card.

After you get your passport back - you'll see the date you're suppose to enter Canada by.

And at the airport in Canada, while you are finishing your landing process, the agents will help you with application for PR Card. You'll get the card about a month or so after that.
 
Thank you for your answer. But, I am in Canada now. What doe's landing mean in this case?
 
You can do a border run to the US, or you can make an appointment with a CIC centre to 'land.
