What format is the entry date on the IEC introduction letter????

Hello, im coming to canada end of this month, well at least i think i am im a bit worried i my visa has expired! it says on the date must enter canada before 5/12/2012, which i read as 5th of december 2012! im hoping its not written in mm/dd/yyy! could anyone shed any light please. thanks

Hi Marty,

When did you receive your introduction letter? I believe the IEC visa is valid for 12 months from the date of Issue.
