it means they are working on your case. and working on how best to reply to your question. and they ask that you trust their word that they will contact you if they need anything further from you. until then, you don't need to communicate with them.

in other words - they're asking you to be patient.

it doesn't mean anything at all about your application. buffalo does not provide case-specific information while applications are in process. when the process has completed, they will be in touch.
