Good day! I'm under spouse sponsorship and CIC Abu Dhabi is handling my case. My ECAS shows the 3rd line note that says, “Medical Results Have Been Received”. Last September 2014, I wrote an enquiry to CIC-Abu Dhabi informing them whats taking so long that I did not hear anything from them as I'm expecting for PPR. Their reply was this “Please note that the request for landing of your spouse have been sent to CPC Vegreville. Once received we will be in contact with you”. What does it mean? My wife is in Canada and working as Live In Caregiver. Appreciate if somebody can interpret the implication of this message to our application. :-[

that sounds like part of the inland process?

vegreville used to do inland processing. perhaps it's now an office that handles the landing interview for those living in canada?

to me "request for landing" suggests they plan to have your wife land at that office, if they make appointments for landing interviews.

if your wife applied outland through abu Dhabi i'm confused why it would be transferred there. perhaps you may want to have your member of parliament (MP) check in on your behalf to find out if that was a mistake or if the file is there. i've never heard of an outland file being sent to vegreville.

It sounds like the spouse applied for PR through the live-in caregiver program, and included their spouse, who is living outside of Canada. Thus the spouse is being processed through Abu Dhabi.
It doesn't seem to be a spousal sponsorship, but rather LC+spouse.

You'd have to check some of the threads for the live-in caregiver program, as the process is rather different.

Yes Milesaway...I'm under sponsorship of my wife who applied an inland PR. I'm presently working in Saudi Arabia and this is why my application is handled by Abu Dhabi being Canada's field offcie in the Middle East region . Now, does the e-mail from Abu Dhabi indicates that my application is almost at the finish line?? Regards. ::) ??? :-[

as stated, you will want to post your question in the Live in caregiver board on this forum. This specific board is for family class sponsorship, which has a different approval timeline, so it is unlikely anyone on here will adquately be able to guide you. even though you are a part of your wife's PR application, the stream in which you are immigrating is not family class.
