What documents are sent by Canada Revenue?

I have been told that there are a couple of letters from Canada Revenue have arrived in my address in Calgary. I have not asked him to open them yet and wondering what documents do they mail from Canada Revenue? Is it SIN card?

No, it's not a SIN card.

By Canada Revenue I assume you mean the Canada Revenue Agency. It would usually be something tax-related, or perhaps you applied for an epass to access gov't services online?

Only things we have applied for are PR cards, SIN cards, Health cards, and opened a joint bank account (me and wife). I have not done anything on their websites.

actually, I received my SIN card from the Canada Revenue Agency a week ago by mail.

As Karlshammar guessed, those letters must be our SIN cards. Still waiting for the PR cards and wish we get them before Christmas.

Do you guys know where the PR cards come from? CIC Ottawa or some other Agency? Can you feel the card inside the envelope without opening it? Beacuse, my guy in Calgary is not opening our letters and I want him to feel the card without opening the letter.

PR cards come from Sydney Nova Scotia.

yes, that was that made us surprised too. we applied through Service Canada.

yes, I heard they come from Sydney too. and yes, you can feel them through in envelope - I well felt my SIN card through the envelope.

Just found out from our contact person in Calgary that PR cards for my wife and 2 kids have been arrived. I am the only one left now and freaking out. I hope there is nothing wrong with my case. They came from Sydney, NS as PMM said.

We landed on Nov 15 and PR cards arrived Dec 14.

as i mentioned in a previous thread - just wait a few days longer and call the cic to make sure. everything should be just fine.
