Hi all...
Please some one help me with what should i do?

I applied for PR in Jan 2013 and i did not receive any communication from CIC about my file until now. Now they have asked me for my Criminal record from my home country and canada. After i applied for my PR i got convicted of a crime in canada and i received a conditional discharge after my probation, which ends on 7th Nov, 2013. and from 8th nov 2013 i will have no record. But i have to submit my RCMP check by oct 12th, and it is going to show record. I am not sure of what to do? Should i ask them for more time or should i send a check with record on it?

Please shed some light on this guys.

You should have no problems submitting the RCMP check now. As long as it was a conditional discharge and the crime happened in Canada, this doens't make you inadmissible. See:

I have seen that.. But my discharge comes into effect after nov 8th, so right now i have record... does that make any difference?

Ah - I see what you mean.

I frankly don't feel qualified to answer that question. Hopefully someone else can help. Failing that - it would probably be worth your money to check with an immigration lawyer.

CIC has been shown to act sensible. I believe by the time they are ready to make a decision on your application the Discharge will have been purged. I can't see them punishing you for something that is about to come off your record. I was once a licensed immigration consultant, so I can speak on former experience only. CIC has been pretty good about things like this.

You will have overcome inadmissibility based upon the discharge once it has purged (ie. I can't speak for other matters that could make you inadmissible if they exist).
