Hi, can you please mention what dates (or no dates) you have on your Indian PCC issued abroad?
Im mostly asking to compare and for some peace of mind.. my wife is foreign citizen and had her pcc issued for her last travel period only. We were turned down (in person, and pretty rudely, so no proof) to obtain it for full stay or all separate periods. Of course we have LOE prepared, but i would love to hear success stories where foreign issued Indian PCC had weird dates yet PR application was successful.

Submitting our application within this week! Wish us luck!

PCC should be after the last visit.

that is not the problem. the problem is that it states that there is no criminal record found from to (only last stay of 9 months). altogether she has lived periodically in India for ~7 out of 9 last years. They refuse to give for the whole period due to her absence from the country in between visits for over 2 months.
So i was wondering if anyone else had a pcc that only covers recent dates and not full stay. They assured us that this certificate will 'imply' no misconduct in past, but that is of little help to our peace of mind.

That's fine. Just get the latest PCC. It will not create any problems.
