I had apply to immigrate as a skilled worker this system doesn't requires any references persons ,but the Canadian government changed the regulations on November 2008, this regulation will effect all applications submitted on or after Feb 2008.

my application date is on Jull 2008 therefore the new regulations will effect my application.

according to the new regulations only 38 positions can apply to skilled worker program my position not one of them , so I am now expect that they may reject my application.

Regarding this is there any thing Ito do ?

Hi,

Does your job come under the 38 occupations list. If it does then YES otherwise if your application is rejected CHC will refund your application fee and you may look for other options here - www.cic.gc.ca.
