I got this letter today on 16 march. I applied for pr and got my file back because of cap reached. That'y why didn't get AOR and my bowp application is rejected. No I am on implied status and today is my last day of implied status. Please help what can i do now. To apply for visitor visa with restoration or work permit with restoration. As this letter says you have to give $355 as a fee which include restoration+work permit fee. But I think m not eligible for any work permit. Please help me...

This letter refers to your application for a work permit. Your application as requested is refused.
[X] Foreign Nationals currently in Canada who have submitted an application for permanent residence (PR) under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) and who meet program eligibility requirements, may be considered for a bridging open work permit (WP) if their current WP will soon expire. To be eligible for this bridging open WP, the following must be met:

- You must have valid status on a work permit that is due to expire within four months

- You must currently be in Canada and have made an application for an open Work
Permit

- You have received a positive eligibility decision on your PR application (Acknowledgment of Receipt letter or e-mail has been sent to you by the Centralized Intake Office)

- You must submit a letter from the province that nominated you under the Provincial Nominee Program that DOES NOT stipulate conditions or restrictions indicating you must work for a Specific Employer, or work Under a Specific National Occupational
Classification Code. (If these stipulations exist on your Nomination, you are NOT eligible for a bridging open work permit)

Your status in Canada is valid until Marcn 16,2015.

[X] We also wish to advise you that your temporary resident status expired on march 16,2015.

You may apply for restoration if, within 90 days from the expiry of your temporary resident status you submit:
• a completed application form;
• applicable fees for restoration and for the immigration document(s) in the amount of
$355.00. Payments should be made online at www.cic.gc.ca. When
you are finished, you must print the receipt of payment and include it with your application. If you are unable to pay online, please contact the Immigration Call Centre,
toll free, at 1-888-242-2100.
• all required documents in support of your application.

Just to maintain status, u can apply for visitor visa or study permit. Do u have any PR application in process ?

No, I GOT MY PR FILE BACK FROM CIC AS THE CAP HAS BEEN REACHED IN OCTOBER. SO, I MADE MY EXPRESS ENTRY PROFILE

You will have to apply to restore your status and change your status to visitor. You don't qualify for a work permit without an approved LMIA. You'll also need to stop working as of tomorrow.

Thank you so much for your reply. I just have few question if you can answer. It will be a great help..
When m filing the form for VISITOR VISA

1) How much i have to pay for restoration as a visitor.. is it $200 or more
2)what would you like to do in canada: I have to choose visitor right
3) what i have to choose : how long u r planning to stay 1) less then 6 month or more then 6 month
4) do I have to fill separate form for multiple entry visa or visitor visa included multiple entry.

i was under same circumstances when my LMO was not approved yet and work permit application got refused.

Website says as 200$ so it should be the same. At the time of my application it was around 350 CAD

2) yes You have to select visitor

3) 6 months or less

4) Nope. Now all the visas being issued are called to be multiple entry one's

Hope you find an employer at the earliest and get your LMIA done . Best Wishes
