I was wondering, what can I do in Canada as a visitor? I applied for Permanent residence but also would like to do something useful.
Meanwnhile, can I go to school, or volunteer, or have a job?

As a visitor, you can volunteer. To work, you need a work permit, and to study, you need a study permit.

As a visitor, you may take courses that are shorter than 6 months and do not give you college credits.
