As stated in the subject line, my work visa will expire in Jan 17 2017 which is in 2 months. But I haven't got my IRCC file number yet. I applied to IRCC on August 12, which is 3 months ago already. I am very worried that I cannot get it before January.
My question is 1. how long does it take NOW to get IRCC file number?
2. what if I cannot get IRCC file number before my work visa expire?
3. My employer doesn't wanna help me with LMIA application. Can I apply for bridge open work permit?
